Traditional and Development Research Institute (TaDRI) is a non-governmental, non-profit science and technology organization established under Decision No. 1364/QD – LHH of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations dated October 11, 2006 and operating license. Science and technology number A-571 issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology on November 7, 2006.
The key staff of the Institute for Traditional and Development Studies are experts who have collaborated and worked on many research and development projects over the past 10 years, including professors, doctors, and masters. , reputable scientists with experience in many different fields, a team of young staff trained at home and abroad with professional abilities, enthusiasm, creativity and dynamism in research and develop.
Mission
– Exploit and promote the values of traditional cultural heritage and indigenous knowledge in determining development goals and serving community and social development.
– Orient practical activities, community development, and social development on the basis of preserving traditional values, cultural dialogue, and cultural respect between community and social groups.
– Orientation to build new cultural values and community development values in accordance with the process of industrialization, modernization, exchange and international integration.
Duty
– Research theoretical issues and summarize practice related to the relationship between tradition and development manifested in the fields of economics, culture, society and environment.
– Develop and deploy models of intervention and action towards the goal of sustainable development, respecting and protecting the cultural values of the community and society, orienting the construction of values and choices new for development purposes.
– Consulting, evaluating, criticizing and assessing social issues, projects and policies related to traditional and development fields in regions.
– Providing science and technology services through organizing seminars, training, communication, disseminating information, knowledge, skills, exchanging experiences, and improving capacity for individuals and organizations. organizations and communities in activities related to the field of traditional research and development.
